| 3½' tall x 3' wide with an intermediate habit. Flowers deep yellowish-pink (47C) with a moderate red blotch (47A). Double, funnel-shaped, with 15 (5 + 5 + 5) overlapping, oval-rounded lobes with wavy edges, 3” wide x 2” long, 2 per cluster. Blooms early midseason to midseason. Calyx moderate yellow-green (143D), 3/16” long. Blooms early-midseason (early May in Oak Hill, VA). Foliage, strong yellowish-green (143A), semiglossy. Leaves elliptic with a cuneate base and broadly acute tip, flat margins, concave curvature side to side and downcurved base to tip, up to 1⅝” long and up to ⅞” wide; summer leaves moderate olive-green (darker than 137A). Low growing with an upright, intermediate habit. Hardy to 0°F (Zone 7), at least. ‘Karee Lynn’ (Stewart) x ‘Gay Paree’ (Kerrigan). Selection number RBS 198. Breeder code 8-2002. Named for Frances Frazier Jones, who has been a great supporter of the Azalea Society of America, making significant contributions to the Azalea Research Fund.
