| 2’ tall x 3’ wide, slow to medium growth habit and spreading. Flowers highly variable: 1) white with light and strong purplish-pink sectors and stripes; 2) moderate purplish-pink with dark purplish-pink stripes and blotch, irregular white margins, 3) dark purplish-pink selfs. Single; funnel-shaped with rounded, overlapping lobes that appear notched and slightly wavy edges, 1 ½-2 ¼”. Blooms late midseason (late May; Satsuki midseason). Leaves small. Hardy to 0°F, at least. Parentage unknown. Translation: Brocade of a Thousand Years. | |||||
