| 2 ¼’ tall x 2’ wide with a dense habit. Flowers Light Purplish-Pink (68D) wash with a faint yellow-green cast in the center. Blotch is a Light Yellow-Green (142D). Single, funnel-shaped, with 5 rounded, overlapping, smooth-edged lobes, 3” wide x 2 ¼” long, 2-3 per cluster. Blooms early midseason (early May in Oak Hill, VA). Stamens strong reddish-orange, pistil lighter. Calyx Strong Yellow-Green (144A), 5/16” long. Foliage Moderate Olive-Green (137A), semi-glossy. Leaves elliptic with a cuneate base and acuminate tip, concave (side-to-side), downcurved (base-to-tip), up to 2” long x 1 ¼” wide. Zone 7; hardy to 0 F, at least. Selection number: RBS 205. Breeder’s code: #2-2002-15. ‘Haru-no-Hibiki’ (Belgian Indian) x ‘Karee Lynn’ (Stewart). Named for Kevin McCorkle to acknowledge his support for the ASA as a Director and as the Legacy Lead for the Strickland hybrids.
