2’ tall x 2 ¼’ wide. Flowers bicolor: very pale purplish-pink with Deep Purplish-Pink (N57C) margins of varying widths. Dorsal lobes tend to have more of the darker color. Small blotch of Strong Purplish-Pink (68B). Single, some with a few petaloid stamens, funnel-shaped, rounded, overlapping, wavy-edged lobes, 2 7/8” wide x 1 7/8” long, 2-3 per cluster. Blooms midseason (mid May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Moderate Yellow-Green (138B), 3/16” long. Foliage Strong Yellow Green (darker than 143B), semiglossy. Leaves ovate with a rounded base and broadly acute tip, concave, up to 2 ¼” long x 1 3/8” wide. Zone 7; hardy to 0°F, at least. Selection number: RBS 51.
