3 3/4’ tall x 3 3/4’ wide with an fairly open habit. Flowers variable: 1) white with Strong Reddish-Purple (N78A) and Light Purple (76A) lobes, sectors, stripes, and lines and a Strong Yellow-Green (144C) blotch on the white fields and Moderate Purplish-Red (70A) on the dark fields; 2) fukurin: Light Purple (77D) with Strong Reddish-Purple (N78B) stripes and lines, irregular white margins and very large, prominent Strong Reddish-Purple (N78A) blotch; 3) Strong Reddish-Purple (N78B) selfs with a Moderate Purplish-Red (70A) blotch. Single, funnel-shaped with oval-rounded, overlapping lobes and wavy edges, 3 3/4” wide x 2 1/4” long, 2-5 per cluster. Blooms early-midseason (late April to early May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Strong Yellow-Green (143C), 1/2” long. Foliage Moderate Olive-Green (137B), semiglossy. Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and acuminate tip, some downcurved base-to-tip, up to 3” long x 1 1/4” wide. Zone 7, at least. Cross: CB #1 (unnamed hybrid grown by Cliff Brown) x Desiree, Shamarello. Selection number: RBS 11. Breeder’s code: #24-92-2.
