2 1/4’ tall x 2 1/2’ wide with an intermediate habit. Flowers tonal: Deep Purplish-Pink (73A), more concentrated at the margins, and lighter tints to a cream center. Prominent Light Reddish-Purple (NN74C) blotch. Single with some petaloid stamens, funnel-shaped with rounded, overlapping lobes and frilly edges, 2 3/4” wide x 2” long, 2-4 per cluster. Blooms early-midseason (early May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Strong Yellow-Green (143C), 5/16” long. Foliage Moderate Olive-Green (137A), semiglossy. Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and broadly acute tip, concave (side-to-side), up to 2” long x 1” wide. Zone 7.
