1 1/2' tall x 1 1/2' wide, dense. Flowers bicolor: Vivid Reddish-Purple (72C) margins of varying widths with centers of a much lighter tint (almost white) of Strong-Reddish-Purple (NN74D) and a faint greyish yellow-green blotch. Single, broad funnel-shaped with round lobes and smooth edges, 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/4" long, 1-2 per cluster. Blooms early-midseason (early May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Moderate Yellow-Green (138B), 5/16" long. Foliage Moderate Yellow-Green (138A), semi-glossy. Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and acute tip, concave (side-to-side), downcurved (base-to-tip), up to 2 1/4" long x 1" wide. Zone 7. Selection number: RBS 69. Breeder code: #19-95-2.
