2’ tall x 3’ wide, vigorous. Flowers variable: pale pink with speckles, flakes, and selfs of deep pink to moderate red, some with a white center, irregular white margins. Single, funnel-shaped with wide, rounded lobes, slightly wavy edges, 2 ½-3 ¼ ” wide. Blooms late-midseason (late May to early June in Oak Hill, VA). Zone 7. Sport of 'Shinnyo-no-Tsuki', Satsuki. Translation: Camphor-tree Gem. |
