| 3’ x 3’ (2’ x 2’ in 5 years), dense. Buds near pale orange-yellow (159C). Flowers near pale orange-yellow (159C) with the interior flushed randomly with pale purplish-pink (near 56A) towards base of tube, and moderate yellow (160A) blotch, and some spotting on lower portions of dorsal lobes. Single with 5 wavy-edged lobes of heavy texture, broad funnel-shape, 2 per truss, 2.5” x 1.4” wide. Blooms early midseason; mid-April into May in Vienna, VA. Leaves moderate olive-green (136A) above, hairless. Leaf shape: elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, flat edges,1.8” x 0.6” wide. Plant and bud hardy to 0°F, at least. Named for my youngest daughter who always had an interest in growing new azaleas. | |||||
