Rounded , slightly open habit. Buds bright pink. Flowers light reddish-pink with a very well defined, but narrow margin of deep reddish-pink of varying widths; some light pink selfs. Single with crinkled lobes (similar to Easter Parade) and ruffled edges, 2 ¾”. After petals fall, bright red sepals remain until August. Blooms late midseason; mid to late May in Derwood, MD. Leaves narrow, shiny, dark green. ‘Moonbeam’ x unnamed hybrid ST-1A. Named for Buck’s maternal Grandmother |
