3’ x 1’ wide, horizontal habit. Young plants have strong reddish purple flowers (RHS 70B) with a dark rose blotch; after plant matures, it develops a very pale center, and varying degrees of light pink in the center of the petaloid stamens. Single with widely rounded, overlapping lobes and wavy edges 3" wide. Blooms late May in Derwood, MD. Medium green leaves; 1 1/4” long. Hardy to -8 F. ‘Moonbeam’ x unnamed hybrid CB-1A. Named for Buck’s youngest daughter. |
